All change for Saints in Trinity tester

ST HELENS have been forced to ring the changes for the visit of away-day specialists Wakefield Trinity this evening (kickoff 8pm Totally Wicked Stadium, live Sky Sports +).

The loss of Mark Percival, Daryl Clark and Jake Wingfield added injury to insult following Saints’ 20-12 Betfred Challenge Cup exit at Warrington Wolves last Sunday.
Head coach Paul Wellens has brought in winger Lewis Murphy, centre Harry Robertson and dummy-half Jake Burns to replace the injured trio but the fact he’s named an initial 20-man squad, rather than the usual 21, gives an insight into how things are going on the injury front.
Like Saints, Wakefield's Challenge Cup journey hit the rocks last weekend and by the same scoreline with Leigh Centurions their nemesis. Perhaps Trinity would have preferred it had the game been played away from home.
