ROB Street is determined to come back and make a big impact for Lincoln City following his successful loan spell with Doncaster Rovers last term.

- By SAM ALLEN

The 23-year-old fired Rovers to the League Two title with 12 goals, including a title-winning brace at Notts County on the final day.

Shaped and inspired by his experiences on loan, Street has returned to Lincoln for preseason, hoping to impress head coach Michael Skubala, get into the team, and make an impact.

"I'm really looking forward to the season ahead. It’s been great to be back at the EPC again, and I know everyone is buzzing to be back,’ Street said. “I really enjoyed my time with Doncaster, to go out on loan, score some goals and get a promotion under my belt as well was really beneficial.

“It's the first silverware of my career, and hopefully, it won’t be the last. Once you get a taste of success, you want to go and do it again, and that’s what I'll be working hard to do.
