Witness plea after assault

POLICE have issued an appeal after a man suffered injuries in a latenight assault.

The victim, a man in his 30s, had been walking along Needhams Walk in Coalville when he was assaulted and had his wallet stolen, between 10.40pm and 11pm on Saturday, December 27.
