We must find the 'sweet spot' to avoid seeing red

RICARDO Pereira will help his Leicester City teammates find the “sweet spot” in this weekend’s M69 derby to avoid the rushes of blood to the head that have previously proven costly.

There will be a heightened atmosphere at the King Power Stadium tomorrow (12.30pm) as neighbours and promotion rivals City and Coventry face off.

The last time they met, Abdul Fatawu’s reckless challenge saw him sent off, with 10-man City eventually losing 3-1.

That had been City’s most recent red card until Aaron Ramsey’s rash tackle at the weekend, with Ricardo coming off the bench to get the goal that rescued a point at Oxford.

Appointed skipper in the summer, Ricardo says City need to play on the emotions of the game but not lose their heads.
