THE latest county golf Alliance meeting was played at Charnwood Forest GC, the oldest course in the county, on a beautiful breathless autumn day which produced some fantastic scoring.
-
Michael Moore (Forest Hill) and Peter Webb (Willesley Park) won with their 47 points haul, after a tie with Birstall head professional Mike Reed and his father Kevin from Longcliffe GC. It was resolved on local rule.
European Senior Tour pro Matthew Cort (Beedles Lake) and John Dekonski (Rothley Park) were third on 46 points.
