£430,000 SITE PAID FOR WITH DEVELOPER CONTRIBUTIONS
THE first new council-run park in the city in four years has opened.
Franklyn Fields, in Aylestone, includes a play area with new equipment and a wildflower meadow to attract wildlife.
There is also an outdoor gym, with equipment for strength and calisthenics training, plus seating and a recreation area.
