Restaurant retains three AA Rosettes

ANORTH Staffordshire restaurant has retained its three coveted AA Rosettes.

Last year, former Great British Menu contestant Thom Bateman - head chef and owner of The Flintlock at Cheddleton - said his venue had become the first in the Leek area to attain the accolade.

Now, it’s been confirmed in the AA Hospitality Awards 2025 that The Flintlock has retained all three Rosettes with an inspector hailing the restaurant as “modern dining next to the water’ Two other Staffordshire restaurants - The Boat and Upstairs by Tom Shepherd, both in Lichfield - also retained its three Rosettes.
