Council leaders slam the 'mindless actions' of yobs who trashed accessible facilities
COUNCIL leaders have hit out at the 'mindless actions' of arsonists after a bus station's accessible toilet was put out of action. Fire crews and police had been sent to the facility in the middle of Leek following reports of a blaze in a toilet cubicle.
Now Staffordshire Moorlands District Council says the toilet, designed to help those with disabilities and other vulnerable people, will be 'closed for some time. Meanwhile police are calling for witnesses over the arson attack, which occurred at around 6.10pm on June 14.
