There’s no Panic over selecting a winner
January 13, 2026
|Lancashire Evening Post
Panic Attack is a worthy favourite back at Newbury in search of a third successive win in the Ada Accountants Mares’ Chase.
-
Dan Skelton’s 10-year-old enjoyed a golden couple of weeks in November, winning the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham before successfully stepping up in distance to three and a quarter miles to fairly sprint home in the Coral Gold Cup at the Berkshire track.
Having won over two and a half miles on the first occasion, there were some stamina questions to answer, but Panic Attack replied in style as she saw off Three Card Brag by six and a half lengths and sent her rating up to 147.
