Spedding's musical journey so much more than being a one-hit wonder

From Top of the Pops to Wombles and the Sex Pistols, guitarist now preparing for punk festival
Sporting a coal black leather jacket and with his hair slicked back Elvis Presley style, Chris Spedding barked out the lyrics to his only solo hit on Top of the Pops.
'Motor Biking...Motor Biking... Moving down the Queen's Highway just like a streak of lightning. Motor Biking...'
It might be half a century ago now, but Spedding says his performance in the national spotlight on the BBC pop show feels like yesterday to him.
"I went to see the producer Mickie Most with this idea for a song, 'Motor Biking', and we just hit it off," said Spedding, who is due to appear on the Literary Stage at next month's Rebellion punk festival in Blackpool.
