A Preston man who raped a girl in her early teens and was found with thousands of indecent images has been jailed.
Mark Williams was found with thousands of indecent images
Mark Williams, 45, was sentenced in his absence at Preston Crown Court after refusing to appear via video link from prison, where he had been on remand.
The court heard that Williams sexually abused the girl over a period when she was in her early teens.
The victim eventually confided in work colleagues about what had been happening, and one of them reported the matter to police.
