Library 'fun palaces' host learning and dance events

Thousands of people are expected to try new activities as 20 of Lancashire's libraries and buildings are filled with slime, Lego and dancers this weekend.

They are being transformed into 'Fun Palaces' on Saturday and Sunday as part of an annual programme of events to get people of all ages involved, using arts, crafts, science, technology and digital skills.
Fun activities on offer include Lego robotics, children's shield-making sessions, family yoga, Tai Chi sessions, slime making, Caribbean Carnival crafts, Ukrainian crafts and culture sessions, Bollywood dancing, colouring, wordsearches, making bookmarks and treasure hunts.
