After a month to remember for Andrew Murphy, his Garstang FC team had a Saturday to forget.
-
The 7-1 home defeat by Thornton Cleveleys left them bottom of North West Counties League first division north.
A happier September for Murphy saw him become the first Garstang player in almost four years to win a NWCFL player of the month award.
