Preston manager Paul Heckingbottom anticipates an energetic Blackburn Rovers to rock up at Deepdale.
This evening sees the first Lancashire derby of the 2025/26 season take place.
It has been the consistent derby fixture in both clubs' calendars over recent years, and the two sides have had a fortnight to prepare.
Heckingbottom watched one of Blackburn's recent matches in the flesh, and took one main thing away from his visit.
He and North End director Peter Ridsdale watched Rovers in action against Southampton at Ewood Park last month.
