Former footballer opening city coffee shop with giant sandpit

A professional footballer and a city centre business owner are teaming up to open a new child-friendly coffee shop.

Mini Dunes is due to open in Lancaster Road, with work ongoing to transform the unit next to the Lancaster Gate pub.
Described as “the first of its kind in the UK”, the café will include a giant sandpit.
