Dame Sarah steps up as Anson stands aside as Red Rose chief

Dame Sarah Storey will assume the role of interim chair of Lancashire Cricket after Andy Anson stepped down from his position as chair of the club.

At a board meeting on Monday, Anson announced his decision to resign from the role, following the India Test match at Old Trafford.

This follows on from his appointment to a new full-time role working with private equity company BD Capital, and his decision to step down as CEO of the British Olympic Association, earlier in the month.
