Runshaw College has been given a £1.7m government grant for its new state-of-the art science building.

College given £1.7m funding for new science building

The further education centre, which offers A-Levels, vocational courses and apprenticeships, is building Windermere Building in place of the disused Foxfield restaurant.

That facility closed in 2019 after falling into disrepair is to be replaced by an energy efficient centre housing state-of-the-art laboratories, dedicated IT suites, industry-standard equipment and a modern study zone.
