Chorley and Euxton victorious amid weather-hit programme

Only three games were played to a conclusion on a rain-hit bank holiday Monday in the NPCL 40-Over Cup, with Chorley and Euxton winning their league-stage games.

Chorley beat Barrow by nine wickets after the hosts elected to bat and were all out for just 52.
Ed Moulton and James Lee claimed four wickets apiece for the visitors.
Chorley then took just 9.1 overs to reach their target, losing only opener James Dunn (15) as Ed Guyton (22no) and Moulton (14no) saw them home.
