A long night, a short supply on snacks, but a lot to be grateful for

This week I have mainly been learning things, things that only life's lessons can teach us.

After feeling not great recently, to the point of having to cancel long standing plans, on Saturday I experienced what I think was probably an ocular migraine, and whilst that in itself is disconcerting, the symptoms are close enough to a TIA (a “mini stroke”) that the paramedics shipped me off to A&E.
