SNP's programme will boost NHS and councils

First Minister John Swinney will set out the SNP Government's programme for the final year of this parliamentary session.

And the contrast between what we do here in Scotland compared to Starmer's year of chaos will be there for all to see.

We will be investing more in the NHS, more in our local councils, working to end Labour's now infamous two child benefit cap and we will bring back winter fuel payments for all pensioners.

Labour has attacked employers, the disabled, the pensioners and just about everyone else with their continued austerity with high energy prices hitting every household.

This will be my last programme for government in the Scottish Parliament and it's a privilege to support it on behalf of constituents in Kilmarnock & Irvine Valley.
