Don 3 dispute: Makers to take legal route after Ranveer Singh's exit?

Back in August 2023, the news of Ranveer Singh being cast as the lead in Farhan Akhtar's directorial Don 3 created quite a stir.

However, what began as a headline-grabbing casting announcement has now evolved into a formal industry standoff one that could soon move from closed-door mediation to the courtroom.

The much-anticipated action franchise found itself at the centre of controversy late last year when Singh, who had been announced as the face of the next installment following Shah Rukh Khan's iconic run, reportedly stepped away from the project after months of pre-production.

While early chatter pointed to creative differences particularly around the evolving script the fallout has since taken on a financial dimension.
