DECEMBER 4, 2025 ISSUE
|Kashmir Observer
SRINAGAR: The J&K UTLBC will hold Mega Facilitation Camps in Ramban, Ganderbal, Kishtwar and Shopian on Friday, December 5, to help residents trace and claim their unclaimed financial assets.
The initiative is part of the ongoing three-month nationwide awareness-cum-disbursement campaign _ titled “Aapki Poonji, Aapka Adhikar - Your Money, Your Right”, launched by the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, in coordination with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and other financial-sector regulators.
The camps aim to provide citizens with one-stop access to guidance, verification and on-the-spot support for claiming unclaimed bank deposits and other inactive financial holdings. Officials from banks, insurance companies, SEBI, PFRDA, LIC, IEPFA, district administrations and the RBI will participate across all four districts.
