JKPICCA Hails Reforms in J&K’s Horticulture, Cold Chain Sector

The Jammu & Kashmir Fruits & Vegetable Processing & Integrated Cold Chain Association (JKPICCA) conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM), bringing together members from across the Union Territory to review sectoral progress and chart future strategies for the horticulture and cold chain ecosystem.
The hybrid-mode meeting saw robust participation, with members joining both physically and virtually, reflecting the Association’s emphasis on inclusive and collaborative decision-making.
Key issues discussed during the session included advancements in fruit and vegetable processing, strengthening of integrated cold chain infrastructure, adoption of modern technologies, policy improvements, and measures to enhance the horticulture value chain.
Members approved several important resolutions aimed at improving efficiency, sustainability, and market competitiveness in Jammu & Kashmir's rapidly evolving horticulture sector.
