House Panel Reviews Jal Jeevan Mission Progress

The House Committee, constituted to look into the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in J&K convened a meeting at the Legislative Assembly Complex, Srinagar.

The meeting was chaired by Committee Chairman Hasnain Masoodi and attended by Members Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, Ali Mohammad Dar, Altaf Ahmad Wani, Aijaz Ahmad Jan, Rajiv Jasrotia, Ranbir Singh Pathania, Tanveer Sadiq, Javaid Riyaz (Bedar), Muzaffar Iqbal Khan, Rafiq Ahmad Naik, Arjun Singh Raju and Iftikar Ahmad.

The Chairman emphasized that the Jal Jeevan Mission, launched by the Prime Minister on 15th August 2019, is a flagship initiative aimed at providing piped water supply (Har Ghar Nal Se Jal) to every rural household in the country.
