Drain Completed 9 Months Ago, But Road Left in Shambles

Despite the completion of a drainage project nine months ago, Lane 6 of Acha Bagh, Mala Bagh near Masjid Ibrahim in Srinagar continues to suffer due to the non-repair of the road, leaving residents frustrated and helpless.
According to KNT, the drain construction, part of a long-pending civic infrastructure upgrade, was reportedly completed in September 2024, but since then, the road surface has been left dug up and unattended. Residents say they are forced to navigate through uneven, muddy, and often water-logged terrain on a daily basis.
