Ramsgate in shock after local business owners die in crash

COUPLE WERE HEADED HOME AFTER ENJOYING A 'MAGICAL' HOLIDAY IN INDIA
A COUPLE who owned a business in Ramsgate were among the 270 people killed in last week’s Air India crash in Ahmedabad.
Fiongal and Jamie Greenlaw-Meek were on board the Gatwick-bound plane, which erupted into a fireball after hitting a building soon after take off.
All but one of the 242 people on board were killed in the crash, and there were also at least 29 casualties on the ground.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashed Into a residential part of Ahmedabad shortly after take-off last Thursday (June 12), in what has been confirmed to be one of the deadliest air accidents in terms of the number of British nationals killed.
Air India said the plane was carrying 169 Indian nationals, 53 Britons, seven Portuguese nationals and one Canadian.
The sole surviving passenger was Briton Vishwash Kumar Ramesh.
Fiongal and Jamie, who had been married since 2019, owned The Wellness Foundry, a tarot and spiritual wellness centre in south London.
In February they had excitedly opened a tarot studio in Ramsgate, saying they looked forward to “new beginnings”.
