A NEW temporary pavilion has opened at the popular Jackey Bakers site in Ramsgate as part of Thanet District Council's efforts to improve local sports facilities.

Councillors and Friends at the official opening THANET DISTRICT COUNCIL
The new facility opened last Thursday (November 13) to replace the previous pavilion, which was closed in 2023 due to health and safety concerns.
The pavilion has been built to Football Association standards, and features separate changing rooms for teams and referees, as well as new public toilets that can also be used for community events.
The site has been secured with new fencing.
