Hardy to lead Broadstairs for another Championship term
April 25, 2025
|Isle of Thanet Gazette
THE 2025 cricket season kicks-off for Broadstairs Cricket Club with the start of a full junior programme from the beginning of May.
-
Broadstairs continue to be the only club in the area to offer an extensive range of coaching and playing opportunities for junior cricketers in the region and with the invaluable support of parents and coaches, the club is hopeful that the future prosperity of the sport can be safeguarded.
Coaches from the club are delivering a series of free coaching programmes in eight local primary and secondary schools, funded through the generous support of Broadstairs and St Peter's Town Council.
On top of this, the club delivers one-to-one coaching at Wellesley Haddon Dene School and runs annual Easter and summer cricket camps in partnership with St Lawrence College.
Junior outdoor coaching for U11s and U13s will take place at the club on Tuesday evenings and U15 training will run on Monday evenings.
