NORRIE'S BRAGGING RIGHTS IN BATTLE OF BRITS
June 01, 2025
|Irish Sunday People
CAMERON NORRIE won the Battle of Britain with a bang against Jacob Fearnley amid French fireworks and chaos.
But the British No.3 was made to sweat by the British No.2 on a muggy Paris night. Their third-round tie was staged in the early evening in the Court Simonne-Mathieu - the stadium closest to the nearby Parc des Princes.
More than 48,000 fans watched last night's Champions League Final on four big screens at Paris Saint-Germain’s home ground. And their fans let off fireworks in the streets outside Roland Garros in the build-up to PSG's 5-0 win over Inter Milan.
