Plan to raise the education bar for people seeking to work in Britain

MIGRANTS will need to be educated to university graduate level to get a visa to work long term in the UK, under plans to be unveiled tomorrow.

Yvette Cooper said the long-awaited Immigration White Paper would “restore control and order to the immigration system”.

But she added while the plans will reduce overall migrant numbers, they will also help boost economic growth.
