Palace in frame to take Ake

The defender (above) is in the frame to replace England centre-back Mark Guehi, whether he leaves Selhurst Park in the January transfer window or at the end of the season.

This situation even creates the possibility of a swap, although that would only happen if a deal was struck in January, as Guehi is out of contract at the end of the season.
