Calvert-Lewin excited to play at new Everton stadium

HAVING left Everton over the summer after a nine-year stay, Dominic Calvert-Lewin might have harboured a slight doubt he would ever get to play at the club's new stadium.

Indeed, as a free agent over the summer, he had offers from overseas clubs as he weighed up his prospects. One was from a Champions League club.

However, the lure of Premier League football and a return to home county Yorkshire meant Leeds United was an opportunity he could not turn down. From initial formal player talks to signing on the dotted line, the whole process took only a week, according to the striker.
