THE Gold Cup looks like GALOPIN DES CHAMPS' to lose as he aims to write his name in the Cheltenham Festival history books.

Only four horses have won the race three times or more and Galopin Des Champs is aiming to join Best Mate, Arkle, Cottage Rake and Golden Miller in the unique club.

But as we've seen this week, you can take nothing for granted at Cheltenham.

However, this is possibly the weakest of the three Gold Cups Galopin Des Champs has contested and he is in a different league to a number of today's opposition.He was brilliant when winning the Irish Gold Cup at Leopardstown last month and is a superstar.

I have a lot of respect for Banbridge, who could be the one to chase home the favourite.

The Triumph Hurdle kicks off the action on the final day of the Festival and, although the English have the two at the top of the market in East India Dock and Lulamba, I fancy HELLO NEIGHBOUR to win it for Ireland.
