Iran chief warns of more attacks on bases | D'In coma after leg loss' as Trump says war is over

IRAN'S new Supreme Leader has vowed to "avenge blood" despite reports he is in a coma after losing a leg and suffering multiple injuries in the US strike that killed his father.

The chilling threat was read out by a newsreader on state television on behalf of Mojtaba Khamenei, 56, who took over after Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in the blitz.

The new Iranian chief said: "We are not an enemy of the countries around us, and we are only targeting the bases of those Americans." He also admitted his nation needs to improve relations with its neighbours after Dubai, Bahrain and Oman were bombarded with drones.

Khamenei said: "The existence of the US bases in [Iran's neighbours] and usage of those bases to attack Iran is not benefiting the region and they must be closed." And bloodthirsty Khamenei hinted at allies in the region, claiming armed groups in Iraq "want to help" while those in Yemen "will also do the job".
