NEWCASTLE boss Eddie Howe has revealed that but for club doctor Paul Catterson's actions his recent illness could have resulted in "a different outcome".
Howe is back at work and will be in the dug-out for today's home game against Ipswich despite admitting he is not yet 100 per cent fit.
But the 47-year-old revealed that had Catterson not visited him at home when he was off work sick, his pneumonia diagnosis might have remained undiscovered with potentially serious consequences.
