KEVIN KILBANE says Canada is in good hands in its battle against Donald Trump's plans to turn the country into the USA's 51st state - because their new Prime Minister is a Toffee!
Mark Carney has taken over the leadership of the Liberal Party at a time of unprecedented tensions between Canada and their neighbours.
He is famously a big Everton supporter and he even campaigned publicly against the Premier League's decision to deduct 10 points for their breach of spending rules.
Carney was also an Irish citizen, but he had to renounce that in order to become Canadian PM.
Former Goodison Park and Ireland player Kilbane is aware of his love of the club.
