THE World Darts Championship is underway in London - here are some facts and figures about the arrows.

WORLD No1 Luke Littler, below right, is defending the title he won after beating Michael van Gerwen in the 2025 final.
There is £5million (€5.7million) to be won with the winner taking home just over €1million and €450,000 for the runner-up.
Any player who achieves a nine-darter picks up a €68,000 bonus. Even those who get knocked out in the first round get €17,000.
A record-breaking 128 players have entered this year's competition.
Phil 'The Power' Taylor, below left, is the most successful player in World Darts Championship history. He won 14 world titles between 1995 and 2013.
