House blaze OAP appeals for return of two donkeys

AN elderly woman who gave away her donkeys after her house burned down has appealed for their return following a fundraiser that allowed her to get back on her feet.

Margaret Adams, 85, lost almost everything when her thatched cottage just outside Killeagh in Co Cork was destroyed by a fire in March.

Her friends say it was a miracle she survived as the blaze spread through her roof and property within minutes.
