SNAKE'S ON A PLAIN OLD ESCAPE FROM ITS OWNER

A PET snake on the loose has been captured - and is hoping to slither back to its owners.

The reptile, which appears to be a corn snake, was found on the northside of Cork city by a member of the public.

This Good Samaritan decided to take matters into their own hands in the hope that it would be returned to its rightful owner.

After building a makeshift bed out of newspapers and a cardboard box, the snake was brought to a vet in Blackpool.
