Six are killed as rival gold miners clash

AT LEAST six people were killed in a clash between rival groups of gold miners in Bolivia.

Miners use dynamite to excavate rock and it is understood the victims died when a powerful explosion ripped through the Yani site near the mountain town of Sorata.
Police spokesman Col. Gunther Agudo said: "We're continuing the rescue efforts."
