ROVERS BOSS IS EXCITED TO PICK SEXTON'S BRAIN
October 01, 2025
|Irish Daily Star
JOHNNY Sexton spent yesterday at Shamrock Rovers, shadowing the Hoops as he boosts his coaching knowledge.
But Rovers boss Stephen Bradley feels the venture was a two-way street as he and his players picked up valuable information from the Ireland rugby legend.
Since hanging up his playing boots, Sexton is busy laying foundations for his own coaching career and has been part of the Ireland rugby and Lions setups.
And since that recent Lions tour to Australia, he has become a full-time coach with the IRFU, where he will work across the national team and provinces.
Sexton was an interested observer at Shamrock Rovers’ training ground, as the Hoops step up their preparation for tomorrow's European clash at Sparta Prague.
