MEATH manager Robbie Brennan (inset) is adamant that Saturday's stunning defeat of Kerry to top Group 2 of the All-Ireland SFC proved that they cannot be considered 'a flash in the pan.'

As the Royals digested a magnificent team display at O'Connor Park in Tullamore, Brennan was delighted that, after downing Dublin in the Leinster semi-final earlier this summer, they had now put another 'big gun' to the sword.

"You'd be sick of hearing me saying that it's been one training session at a time, one game at a time, and keep on trying to improve, and we're doing that," he said.
