BOOKMAKERS fear a "very expensive" afternoon today if Rachael Blackmore repeats her Grand National success at Aintree.

It's estimated that another historic win for the Tipperary woman could cost bookies across Ireland up to €5million.

It comes after Blackmore suffered a nasty fall on Aintree's opening afternoon on Thursday but she will be fit and ready to take her place in today's thrilling contest.

The 35-year-old entered racing's history books as the first woman jockey to win the race when Minella Times triumphed at Aintree in 2021.

She rides the 12-year-old Minella Indo, who won the Chel-tenham Gold Cup under Jack Kennedy a few weeks before her magical day at Aintree four years ago.
