Priest's tribute at Dolores' funeral

SINGER Dolores Keane brought “joy and comfort to so many”, her funeral heard yesterday.

The singer, who performed with De Dannan, died on Monday aged 72.

Fr Dixy Faber told St Patrick and St Cuana Church in Kilcoona, Co Galway, said: “Within this parish and community she found the love and support that enabled her to share her gift.

“We have been proud and privileged to call her one of our own.”
