COMMENT: ENGLAND BOSS'S STANCE

THIS is War. What the hell is going on between England manager Thomas Tuchel and England's star players?

He’ simply making it clear that in the modern age of player power, there is only one Big Boss of this England team — the manager.

After his summer thoughts of telling the world that his mammy often felt Jude Bellingham’s behaviour was repulsive, Tuchel left him out of the October international squad.

England battered Latvia 5-0 in Riga to qualify for the World Cup. And Bellingham wasr't the only one. No Phil Foden, no Jack Grealish, no Cole Palmer or Conor Gallagher.

But another great window. Six games, six wins, 18 points, 18 goals and six clean sheets is a fantastic start for the German.

Tuchel signed his 18-month contract with the task of turning Gareth Southgate’s near missers into World Cup winners.

In a world that needs ability to always be more important than nationality, it’s sad to see some English people resent that they have a German manager.

It took courage for Tuchel to take the England job. He's now showing courage to let the dressing-room know he will show respect to those who respect that team must always come first.

It's fascinating to see Tuchel demand that no player can be bigger than the team. English hero Southgate was given a knighthood for all the near misses and glorious failure.
