Matt's screen mum: I tried to reach out

MATTHEW Perry's onscreen mum and Friends costar Morgan Fairchild has revealed that she tried to reach out to him as he succumbed to drug addiction.

In a film about the actor's life, mental health battles and tragic death, Morgan speaks candidly about their relationship.

She says: “I have flashbacks of that young man who would come bounding over on the set like a big puppy dog, that’s always how I remember him.
