Late Late annual festive special a favourite with viewers

THE Late Late Toy Show was the most-watched programme on Irish TV last year, it's been revealed.

Irish viewers were also glued to The Traitors Ireland, watching Troy Parrott secure a playoff for Ireland, the All-Ireland hurling and football finals.

They also tuned in for the Prime Time presidential debate and the Katie Hannon interviews in the run-up to the election.

The viewing figures released by TAM Ireland/Nielsen Media showed 45 of the Top 50 most-watched programmes across all channels available in Ireland were watched on the national broadcaster.
