JOEL PIROE says he is ready to be the main man for newly-promoted Leeds United this season.
The prolific Dutchman (above) helped Daniel Farke's men to the Championship title last term and won the division's Golden Boot with 19 league goals.
Yet Piroe, signed from Swansea two summers ago, is untested in English football's top flight. Now he will get that chance and the 26-year-old is determined to prove he can be just as prolific in the Premier League.
Boss Farke is working hard to bring in striking reinforcements, but Piroe said: "In the Premier League, playing for a big club, you always face competition.
