Ireland's first healthcare AI hub launches

THE country’s first healthcare AI hub aims to reduce A&E waiting times, assist in diagnosis, automate time-consuming tasks — and save lives.
-
The Centre for AI and Digital Health was opened yesterday, and is based at the Pillar Centre for Transformative Healthcare at Dublin's Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.
It will oversee the adoption of AI in radiology, oncology, cardiology, and ophthalmology.
