THE Irish music scene is bursting with “talent and diversity”, no-wave provocateur Skinner says.

- By Cathal Ryan

The project of Dublin-based multi-instrumentalist, singer, and producer Aaron Corcoran, Skinner has had a whirlwind year, releasing his debut record New Wave Vaudeville alongside hitting festival dates and venue shows around Ireland and the UK - most recently Other Voices.

Skinner has played the long-running Dingle weekender a number of times, bringing the last year of shows full circle when they took to the Green Street Stage on Sunday.

“That was actually a really nice moment,” Aaron told The Scene. “I think, for us in the band, where we saw people coming back and noticing that we're still tipping away and trying to progress all the time.”

At this year's festival, Dingle’s Green Street transformed into the Jameson Green Street Stage - a fresh new space sporting a stacked lineup of Irish and International acts, including HAAi, Mount Kimbie, Shame, Cliffords, SeAn McKenna, EFE and Skinner.
